“Mount Loosimingor is located in the northern part of Maasailand in Tanzania. It lies in the Rift Valley, 2 hours west of Arusha town.
This hunt is one of the most challenging Cape buffalo hunts in Africa. During the past 15 years we have perfected our style of stalking buffalo in this difficult environment. Our strict policy of sustainable hunting, which involves taking only non-breeding bulls, has resulted in a healthy buffalo population. It is not unusual whilst hunting on the mountain, to see different herds of buffalo several times a day.
The trophy quality is excellent, but what makes this hunt so extraordinary is the fact that you will be hunting for 10-12 hours a day, on foot, from a mountain camp. Close quarter buffalo hunting allows purists who prefer rifles with open sights, or hunting with bows, a good chance of success. There is no way of experiencing a more intense hunting experience than on a mountain buffalo hunt with us.”
